October 4, 2023 Afternoon Update
Warmth continues across eastern half of nation
Temperatures soared into the upper 80s all the way to John’s Bay in northern Ontario. Widespread 80s are 20°F-25°F above normal for October 4th. Quite the early Fall “heat wave” across 1/2 of the nation. Cooler air arrives by Friday and this weekend with highs in the 40s and 50s.
