Hurricane Rafael now tracking across the Gulf of Mexico
After a whirlwind couple of days with 2024 Election related activities, I’m quite happy to get back to the weather. While I can be useful from some political purposes, my talents are best used to process and analyze weather [model] data.

The western half of the Lower 48 is quite chilly with some 10s and 20s showing up across the Rockies, associated with yet another strong western trough.
Snowfall Forecast Next 7-days
Monumental snowfall totals in New Mexico with upwards of 70-80 inches possible in the higher elevations east of Santa Fe.
