Good evening!

Much warmer weather next week at least east of the Rockies with well-above normal temperatures.

Temperature anomaly next 9-days (average daily high+low/2)

Blend of Models High Temperatures — through next Saturday

Into the 60s in Chicago and New York City

And the 70s in Washington D.C.


967 mb West Coast “Bomb Cyclone” Next Week Tues-Wed

With that strong trough coming out of the North Pacific sliding down the West coast, a major “bomb cyclone” develops off Pacific Northwest — watching for potential major impacts to WA/OR coast (wind gusts).

Snowfall next 6-days

Surface Fronts at 7 PM ET on Friday

No severe weather but could be impactful winter weather from Nebraska to Chicago.

Precipitation Type Next 6-days | ECMWF 18z

Main attraction is the “bomb cyclone” developing off the Pacific Northwest coast down in the 960s mb pressure.
