Severe weather and heavy snowfall with significant impacts from Texas to upper Midwest

Sunday evening weather update shows a powerful Plains storm analyzed at 982 mb over east Colorado with a complex frontal structure. Severe weather is out ahead of a cold front while heavy snowfall will drop a foot on Minneapolis.

This evening, the Enhanced (3/5) Risk of severe thunderstorms extends from OK into KS. The strongest hail storm on radar is currently ~7 PM CT rolling through Wichita Falls.
