Tropical moisture feed keeps Eastern U.S. unsettled but also escapes heat into next week
A quick evening update for the Lower 48 since the tropics are rather quiet.

June continues to be very wet east of the Rockies with extreme heat in the Southwest.
90s finally expand a bit across the Lower 48 next week with more than 100 million population. However, comfortable 70s and 80s across the Midwest, Great Lakes, and Northeast.
High Temperatures next 8 days
After Thursday, comfortable temperatures across much of the Lower 48 heading through mid-June. Exception is Phoenix pushing 113°F.

Invest 93E is being watched for likely development before this weekend — 90% (NHC). Former Tropical Storm Cosme is now a remnant low and swirl of clouds south of Cabo San Lucas.
