February 25, 2024 Spring Warmth
Temperatures soar into the 60s and 70s across the Midwest and Great Lakes
Sunday Evening Update
Temperatures well into the 80s and 90s in Texas this evening. 60s extend to just outside Chicago and inching eastward across the Ohio River Valley.
Monday’s highs will put Des Moines into the 70s. The average Lower 48 high temperature is almost 62°F. Dallas into the low-90s.
Tuesday’s highs warmer yet ahead of a strong cold front with the developing winter storm. 80s into St Louis. Colder air behind the front sweeps into the upper Midwest with teens in the Dakotas.
Next Weekend
A quick look ahead to next Sunday. 60s and 70s across the eastern Lower 48 again. Looks like another weekend of Spring Fever — no complaints.
